Zimmer Perforating rule is punched with state of the art equipment to assure blade to blade consistency. Zimmer then precision grinds the rule with a true double bevel to eliminate any burr which may have formed. While this is a more expensive process, the results are superior to simply punching rule. | Micro-Max MicroPerforating Rule is made by EDM (Electric Discharge Manufacturing) equipment.The teeth of this rule are made to a depth of .030” and are almost perfectly square. This rule is ideal for thicker, multi-part or multi-ply applications. It is most often produced in a very hard temper and therefore, is not easily bendable. However, it can be specially ordered in lower tempers for applications requiring bending. |
